Surface Biotechnology

Main occupations of the group are education and academic research in surface biotechnology, i.e. the interactions at the interface between artificial or natural materials and molecules of biological significance such as proteins, nucleic acids and cells. Our both basic and applied research is related to immuno diagnostics, biosensor design, development of biomaterials. The Surface Biotechnology group engages also  in theoretical and practical development of separation methodology for small chiral molecules as well as for large proteins and particles spanning more than three orders of magnitude in size.
